Primary Therapist

Mary Culp is a primary therapist at Garden State Treatment Center, where she has served as a team member since 2020. Mary Culp has worked in the arena of Addiction and Recovery since 2013. Mary obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Business Management from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. Mary continued her graduate education at Canisius University with her Master’s Degree in Communication and Development and later in her profession completing a Master’s in Business Administration. Mary transitioned to a career in counseling after working in the business world in business development, operations management, and human resources for several decades. After witnessing the devastating impact of addiction in her community, Mary began working in the field of addiction treatment.

Mary has a deep passion for helping clients achieve and sustain long term recovery. Mary is known for building strong relationships with her clients and the families that support their recovery. Her goal is to provide a safe environment for clients to navigate the obstacles and challenges of recovery while providing support and encouragement along the way.
